For the upcoming autumn-winter, the American manufacturer of hiking, hunting and military tactical equipment, Beyond Clothing, introduced several new products in different categories, including a line of clothing for winter conditions, which are divided into A7 Insulation and A8 Polar Insulation layers. Some of the novelties presented are based on the previously announced Axios Arctic System five-layer kit, which was designed for extremely cold conditions..
The A7 Insulation category, which already consists of ten different items, will soon be supplemented by the A7 Insulated Short (363 g) and the A7 Quarter Jacket (227 g). Both are designed to provide an extra level of insulation, and are designed to be worn over basic insulating or protective layers of clothing. The jacket, in turn, allows you to comfortably insulate the torso without significantly restricting mobility and maintaining access to equipment. Made from 70% DWR rip-stop nylon and insulated with Climashield APEX (102g/m2).
The A8 Polar Insulation layer was not previously presented at all, it will be based on the new A8 Falcon S. Parka jacket (1400 g) and the A8 Falcon S. Pant insulated trousers (1000 g), designed for active use complete with other protective layers at temperatures from -40 to -57 degrees Celsius. The garment is made from a combination of different types of materials, with a Gore Windstopper layer as the main layer, which is complemented by 70-meter DWR-treated rip-stop nylon and dense Cordura in high-wear areas. As a heat-insulating filler, Climashield APEX synthetic insulation (198 g/m2) is used.
Sales of the presented new products should begin closer to winter, several color options are announced, both plain and in the popular MultiCam camouflage. Future suggested retail price has not yet been disclosed by the manufacturer.
