The outsole of the Equipe Corsa running shoe has a multi-component structure consisting of a wide two-component cushioning of Light EVA and FlexSoft, the latter forming the forefoot of the midsole. In addition, a flexible external arch support is used, as well as a separate outsole made of soft rubber in the forefoot, and more durable Duratech 5000 material in the heel. The average weight of a pair of men’s running shoes is 424 grams (8.5 US).
