The watch company Timex has recently expanded its outdoor collection of Expedition watches with a new series called Expedition Digital 47mm Watch. The new line is distinguished by the manufacturer as a shock-resistant and waterproof casual watch, with convenient controls and a well-read dial, which, moreover, belongs to the budget category. At the moment, the watch is presented only in two design options (TW4B179009J, TW4B18100JT).
The shockproof and sealed case of the new watch, which has a diameter of about 47 mm and a thickness of no more than 15 mm, is made almost entirely of polyurethane. In addition, a stainless steel back cover, acrylic glass and buffer steel frame are used. To fix the watch on the hand, a 22 mm quick-release polyurethane strap with a metal buckle is used, which, for an additional fee, can be replaced with various options from nylon, silicone, etc.
The watches of the series have relatively basic functionality. They provide a world time function with the ability to display in 12/24-hour format, the ability to display time in two time zones simultaneously, a calendar, a stopwatch, a countdown timer and three independent alarms with an auto-repeat function after 5 minutes. For comfortable work in the dark, there is a proprietary Indiglo backlight. Lithium batteries of the CR 2016 format are used as a power source.
The suggested retail price of the new Timex Expedition Digital 47mm Watch is exactly $60. It is possible to order a novelty both through the company’s online store and through the official showcase on amazon, where their price starts at $40.
