The body of the new flashlight is made of a combination of aluminum alloy with reinforced polymer, the overall tightness meets the IP67 standard (the previous generation had IP66 protection), which guarantees complete protection of the device from dust and short-term immersion in water. The dimensions of the flashlight, excluding the elastic strap, are 64 mm in length, 50 mm in width and 38 mm in height, the weight of the flashlight without batteries is not more than 74 grams.


The Fenix ​​HL30 2018 features a low-power auxiliary red LED and a Cree XP-G3 main white LED with a claimed maximum brightness of up to 300 lumens and an effective range of up to 50 meters. The functionally new flashlight, in addition to the Red, Red Flash and SOS modes, provides five main brightness modes, which are divided into Eco (4 lum, 200 h), Low (30 lum, 65 h), Mid (70 lum, 35 h), High (130 lum, 12 h) and Turbo (300 lum, 7 h).
