For the upcoming autumn-winter season, the Swedish brand Fjällräven is preparing three new insulated jackets from the Expedition series at once, some of which will complement and replace existing models. Introduced Expedition Long Down Parka (1450g), Expedition Pack Down Hoodie (490g) and Expedition Lätt Hoodie (480g) with synthetic insulation. All the novelties presented will be offered in different colors, both in men’s and women’s styles..

As the main material, in all presented jackets, 100% nylon is used, which, according to the manufacturer, is created entirely from recycled materials. A similar material, but with a lower density and a softer structure, is also used to create the lining of jackets. In addition, the Expedition Pack Down Hoodie features an extra layer of polyester, which is also made from recycled material, to reinforce the shoulders and hood.

The Expedition Long Down Parka and Expedition Pack Down Hoodie use 700FP natural goose down to provide the level of insulation you need. In addition to natural insulation, the park uses synthetic polyester insulation with a density of 150 g/m2 and 200 g/m2, which is located on the sleeves and partly in the chest area. The Expedition Lätt Hoodie, which can be packed into your own pocket, is insulated exclusively with polyester insulation, the average weight of the insulation is 158 grams.

The presented insulated jackets should go on sale closer to the beginning of autumn, both men’s and women’s versions are planned in different solid colors to choose from (Dandelion, True Red, UN Blue, Black, Navy). Future MSRP starts at $200 for the Expedition Lätt Hoodie. Expedition Pack Down jackets will cost $250-$275, while the Expedition Long Down Parka is priced at $600.
