Following the new design options for the GST-B100 series, the Japanese company Casio will soon supplement its «steel» and shock-resistant G-Steel collection with a new series of G-Steel GST-B300 watches, which stands out for its external design, including more compact dimensions, and overall design built around Carbon Core Guard. At the moment, the G-Steel GST-B300 line already includes three models (GST-B300-1A, GST-B300S-1A, GST-B300SD-1A), which differ in bezel design and strap type.

Similar to last year’s G-Steel GST-B200 series (53.3 x 49.2 x 14.5 mm, 87 g), the GST-B300 (51.0 x 50.0 x 15.5 mm, 82 g) is based on a reinforced composite case made of carbon fiber, which from outside it is added with layers from stainless steel. Mineral glass is used to protect the combination dial. Depending on the choice of version, the new watch is fixed on the wrist using a flexible polyurethane strap, or an adjustable steel bracelet with a satin finish.

Functionally, the new anti-shock watch provides Tough Solar solar charging technology with a battery level indicator, wireless data exchange technology with a Smartphone Link (Bluetooth) smartphone, which, in turn, allows you to quickly synchronize the current time and calendar, set an alarm, and find your phone /hours if necessary. In addition, the watch provides a stopwatch, a countdown timer, the function of retracting the hands from the display, as well as fluorescent and LED backlight, which is activated by the front button.

Tentatively, free sales of a new line of anti-shock watches G-Steel GST-B300 should start next month. The GST-B300-1A and GST-B300S-1A versions will cost approximately $400, while the GST-B300SD-1A, which stands out with its steel bracelet, will cost $500.
