In addition to the previously announced models of folding pocket knives, the American knife brand Camillus Cutlery has also updated the collection of fixed blade knives, two budget models Camillus Hawker and Camillus Roto are presented. Both models are made in the same style, as a continuation of the Camillus Mask and Camillus Veilt, and from identical materials, and differ only in the blade profile, so Camillus Roto is distinguished by the presence of a gutting hook.
The Camillus Hawker and Camillus Roto models feature a nearly 102mm 420 stainless steel (50 HRC) full-tail blade that is additionally treated with a titanium coating. The handle is predominantly made of reinforced polymer with the addition of an anti-slip layer of thermoplastic rubber. The total length of the knives is about 228 and 240 mm, respectively. The total weight of the new fixeds lies within 214 grams.
The presented models are completed with a rag scabbard made of ballistic polyester, which provides for a universal mount for a trouser belt. The recommended retail price for the Camillus Hawker and Camillus Roto Gut Hook models is almost $17.
