American brand Beyond Clothing has launched its new extreme cold jacket, which will be part of the KYROS outdoor collection, as the eighth layer of clothing. The novelty was called K8 Allta Parka and is based on the A8 Falcon S. Parka model, designed for military tactical use. The parka differs in some elements of the cut, available color options, and, most importantly, insulating filler, allowing you to use the new jacket in temperatures down to -57C degrees.

The outer layer of the new padded jacket is made from a combination of a 70 denier rip-stop nylon material and a double layer of 40 denier Cordura nylon material. The lining is smooth, thinner and more pleasant to the touch nylon. Unlike the Climashield APEX (198g/m2) insulation used in the A8 Falcon S. Parka, the K8 Allta Parka uses PrimaLoft Gold Eco (227g/m2), made from 55% recycled polyester fibers.

The design of the parka includes a voluminous and adjustable hood with a high double flap collar, a low back, volume adjustments along the bottom edge, profiled sleeves with elongated and adjustable cuffs, a front fastener with a wide zipper with two different locks, which is protected from the outside by a tight Velcro flap . The cut features eight pockets, including two hand warmer pockets, one chest pocket, one pocket on each shoulder, one internal pocket with a media port and two internal open pockets.

Today, the K8 Allta Parka insulated parka is already available in two colors (Manatee Gray, Rescue Red) in five sizes to choose from (S-XXL). The weight of the jacket in a large size (L, Large), declared within 1.68 kg. The recommended retail price of a new parka is set by the manufacturer at $595.
