For the next autumn-winter season, the popular Swedish brand Fjällräven will expand the Keb hiking clothing collection with a new series of insulated Keb Wool Padded Jackets, which, as you might guess from the name, stands out for its insulating filler made of natural wool fibers. The novelty, which will be presented in several color options for both men’s and women’s styles, is created with care for the environment and is designed for active use as an external or internal warming layer..
The outer layer and lining of the Keb Wool Padded Jacket are made of a hydrophobic and reinforced polyester material, the fibers of which are completely recycled. To create the required level of thermal insulation, Swedish-made natural wool is used with the addition of 20% polylactide fibers. The declared density of the insulation used is at least 60 g / m2, the average total weight of a men’s jacket does not exceed 515 grams, and a women’s jacket borders on 450 grams.
The design of the Keb Wool Padded Jacket features an adjustable high collar hood, profiled sleeves with elasticated cuffs, a low back, volume adjustments at the hem, and a front zip fastening with double sided closures. In addition, the jacket has four pockets, two breast pockets, and two for warming hands, which are compatible with the unloading systems of hiking backpacks.
Free sales of the new line of Keb Wool Padded Jackets should begin towards the end of summer 2021. The future value is still unknown. Men’s and women’s models will be offered in three color options to choose from.
