A few hours ago, Leatherman, on its official facebook page, announced the release of the new Leatherman Raptor universal tool. The new product is primarily aimed at emergency responders and medical professionals, and the novelty is also great for collectors of «emergency backpack».
The manufacturer managed to combine several tools in the Raptor, in addition to folding medical scissors, there is a tool for cutting rings, a sling cutter, a glass breaker, an oxygen cylinder key and a 5 cm ruler. All tools are made of 420HC stainless steel.
The Leatherman Raptor multi-tasking tool comes with a clip and a plastic case for easy placement of the tool on equipment or clothing. The release of the multitool is scheduled for sale in May 2013, the price is $70.
