This week, Libra Knife Works (LKW Knives) opened orders for a new utility knife from the Crusher series, which belongs to the collection of hunting and bushcraft knives. The new model is called the LKW Master Crusher and is the largest version after the Crusher and Crusher XL, which are 240 mm and 280 mm in total length respectively..
The new model is made in the same style and colors, as well as using similar materials as the basic versions. The blade is made using O-2 tool steel, the hardness of steel is declared by the manufacturer at 59 HRC. To create a comfortable «working» handle, wide pads made of G10 material are used, the pads are fixed with two pairs of metal bolts for a regular hexagon.
The design of the knife includes a wide full-tail Drop-Point blade and an ergonomic handle with a lanyard hole and a striking pommel. Unlike previously presented versions, the full length of the LKW Master Crusher model reaches exactly 300 mm, the length of the handle is at least 130 mm, the length of the blade itself is 170 mm, the maximum thickness on the butt is 4.5 mm. The weight of the knife is not specified.
