Next season, Merrell will launch a new line of lightweight All Out Crush sneakers from the Merrell All Out Specialty Outdoor Collection. Designed for cross-country running, the All Out Crush is originally planned in two variations for both men and women — All Out Crush and All Out Crush Light..
Between themselves, the All Out Crush and All Out Crush Light models differ in a set of colors, upper materials and, accordingly, weight. On the base All Out Crush model, the upper is made by combining TPU reinforcement cages with nylon mesh. The lighter version of the All Out Crush Light features an almost entirely 3D mesh upper with a TPU-reinforced toe and heel. Inside, both models use a mesh lining and a removable anatomical insole with M Select FRESH antibacterial treatment.
Both models of trekking shoes are built on the updated proprietary Merrell Unifly sole, which consists of an arch support, an intermediate cushioning layer made of flexible EVA foam and a wear-resistant TPU outsole with an aggressive self-cleaning tread, which is made using M Select GRIP technology. The height difference between the heel and toe is about 6 mm.
The new Merrell All Out Crush line of lightweight trail running shoes should be available in the first weeks of spring 2016 for an estimated price of around $100. The total weight of a pair of men’s sneakers is stated at 460 and 430 grams, respectively.
