British brand Montane, well known for its high-quality clothing and equipment for mountaineering and mountaineering, decided to try its hand at the specialized military tactical market, recently announcing the Montane Tactical Range (MT) collection. The new military tactical products are based on popular models of tourist clothing, while maintaining the overall cut and functionality, the manufacturer has updated only the main materials and accessories that meet modern military specifications..
In total, the company presented five products — these are the MT Alpine Pro Jacket hardshell jacket, the MT Prism Jacket, the MT Allez Micro Hoodie, and the MT Terra Stretch Pants and MT Super Terra Pants. The trousers have identical cut and functionality, and differ from each other only in the main material. The novelties will be offered only in the male version, both in the monochromatic Coyote color scheme, and in the popular MultiCam and MultiCam Arid camouflages.
The hardshell jacket MT Alpine Pro Jacket is made of a three-layer membrane material, the outer layer is made of durable nylon with a water-repellent treatment, the maximum density of the outer layer is 40 denier. As a heater in the MT Prism Jacket model, a hydrophobic filler PrimaLoft Gold Eco (torso 100 g/m2, sleeves 60 g/m2) is used, which is protected from the outside by Pertex Quantum material, and inside is complemented by a Peaq Synthetic Eco lining. The MT Allez Micro Hoodie is made primarily from Polartec Power Grid synthetic material.
The field trousers MT Terra Stretch Pants and MT Super Terra Pants have an identical cut but differ in the base material. So, in the MT Terra Stretch Pants version, an elastic synthetic material with water-repellent impregnation is used, which in its structure is almost similar to the material in the basic tourist version. The MT Super Terra Pants uses a more traditional military tactical clothing material, a Cordura NYCO rip-stop blend (50% nylon, 50% cotton), which is complemented by regular Cordura reinforcement panels.
All products shown will be manufactured primarily in the UK. Regardless of color choice, the MT Alpine Pro Jacket hardshell jacket is priced at approximately $485, the MT Prism Jacket is insulated for about $220, the MT Allez Micro Hoodie is priced at $155, and the MT Terra Stretch Pants and MT Super Terra Pants will cost $275 and $328 respectively.>
