Recently, Nike has introduced about a dozen new shoes in various categories, including three new pairs of lightweight, futuristic-style sneakers that are designed for active use in the warm season. New releases include the Nike Free RN Motion Flyknit 2017 running shoe, and two pairs of ultra-light watersports shoes, the Nike Aqua Sock 360 and NikeLab Aqua Sock 360, which are inspired by the 80s Aqua Sock and Aqua Sock Two, respectively..
The key feature of these models is a lightweight, thin and elastic seamless upper that fits snugly around the foot and is made of breathable and quick-drying mesh material. At the same time, for additional fixation of the foot, on the outside of the sneaker there is a wide elastic strap paired with Flyknit technology, a dense polyurethane heel pad, or a combination of a heel pad with a tight tightening strap in the front, like the NikeLab Aqua Sock 360.
The Nike Free RN Motion Flyknit 2017 Running Shoe features an ergonomically designed outsole with increased vertical absorption, and a flexible midsole paired effectively with a durable outsole. The height difference between heel and toe is only 4 mm. The Nike Aqua Sock 360 and NikeLab Aqua Sock 360 use a low-profile outsole that is divided into three sections with a small distance between them, which significantly increases the overall flexibility of the sole, and also acts as a passive drainage system.
The Nike Free RN Motion Flyknit 2017, Nike Aqua Sock 360 and NikeLab Aqua Sock 360 Lightweight Running Shoes are now available in multiple colorways for both men’s and women’s designs. Running shoes are priced at around $150 a pair, low-profile watersports shoes are $75 and $90 respectively.
