The new insulating jacket, which was designed mainly for active use in mountainous conditions, is made from a combination of two materials. The base material is a synthetic fleece material Polartec High Loft Wool, which consists of 52% wool, 40% polyester and 8% polyamide, and has a density of at least 200 g/m2. On the sides and partially on the sleeves, a smoother and thinner Alpine Wool Warm Melange Grid material is used, which includes 70% polyester and 30% wool, weighing 143 g/m2.
According to the manufacturer, the new fleece jacket dries quickly, continues to effectively retain heat when completely wet, has good vapor permeability and is quite compact. Its cut includes a non-adjustable hood with an elasticated neckline and high collar, a front zip fastening, a slightly dropped back, profiled sleeves with elasticated cuffs and two slit pockets with a zip fastening. The weight of the men’s version of the jacket in large size (L) is 438 grams.
