Timberland has launched the new Solar Wave Collection, featuring men’s and women’s shoes in a variety of styles and designs, designed with the environment in mind. The main feature of the new collection, in addition to the overall design, is the layer of the two-component GreenStride sole, which, according to the manufacturer, is 75% a mixture of sugar cane and natural rubber..
At the moment, the Timberland Solar Wave collection includes both boots with full leather and mixed uppers, as well as various sneakers with mixed and full synthetic uppers. At the same time, ReBOTL brand material is used to create external mesh inserts and lining, which consists of 50% recycled polyester fibers. At the same time, 3M Defender Repellent Systems treatment is used to make the materials water-repellent.
In addition to the wide intermediate foam, which is based on sugar cane fibers, the sole of Timberland Solar Wave shoes, regardless of the choice of execution, is formed by a mixed outsole made of natural rubber with a universal tread pattern and an anatomical insole, with basic support for the heel and arch of the foot, also consisting of 70% from natural raw materials.
The recommended retail price of new products, depending on the choice of model, ranges from $110 for low-end fully synthetic sneakers to $130 for boots with leather uppers. It is already possible to order shoes, including through the official website of the manufacturer.
