Today, California-based manufacturer SOTech announced the start of pre-orders for its MACTAC Pack (Multiple Assault Counter-Terrorism Action Capability), which is based on the small Mission Pack Micro backpack. The original design of the backpack and shoulder strapsallows you to use it as a small daily backpack, shoulder bag, or as a backpack with one diagonal strap.
The MACTAC Pack is made of 1000D Cordura, in addition to the main compartment, it has a small organizational compartment with velcro lining and a hidden pass-through compartment behind the back, which can be used for a hydraulic system or for carrying handguns. Standard PALS slings are sewn on the outside.
The SOTech MACTAC Pack is available in black, sand, and MultiCam camo for $175 in pre-order. The start of sales is scheduled for June 2013. The video below demonstrates all the functional features of the new backpack.
