Among the latest innovations from Timex, one can single out a new, relatively budgetary, collection of electronic watches Timex DGTL, in which, at this stage, four series of watches are already presented. The collection includes models Mako DGTL, Guard DGTL, HQ DGTL and Tactic DGTL, with each model positioned as shockproof and water resistant, and available in two or three designs.

The presented watch is made in a combined shockproof and watertight (5 ATM/50 m) case, which is mainly made of polymer, and will be complemented by a stainless steel caseback, acrylic glass, and in some versions, a steel bezel. To fix the watch on the hand, a silicone strap with a stainless steel buckle and a silicone tie is provided.

Watch models of the Guard DGTL (50 x 47 x 17.5 mm), HQ DGTL (50 x 50 x 17.5 mm) and Tactic DGTL (53 x 50 x 18.5 mm) series provide a combined dial, where the LCD display is complemented by three analog hands, then as in the cheaper model Mako DGTL (44 x 44 x 15 mm) there is only a monochrome LCD display.

The functionality of the watch is quite basic, in addition to displaying the time in 12/24-hour format and an automatic calendar, the watch has a stopwatch, timer and alarm clock. The Mako DGTL version stands out for its ability to display the time in two time zones at the same time. Indiglo electroluminescent illumination is provided for work in the dark.

The HQ DGTL and Tactic DGTL series are priced at $47, while the Guard DGTL and Mako DGTL are $55 and $39 respectively. An order for a new watch from the Timex DGTL collection can be placed both on the official website of the manufacturer and through a showcase on amazon, where they are offered at a discount.
