Italian outdoor footwear manufacturer Kayland has published a detailed video with the presentation of a new line of Stellar mountain boots, which will go on sale next year. The new series stands out for its relatively low overall weight, lightweight and seamless upper, original design of the quick lacing system, as well as a layered outsole design that is compatible with semi-automatic climbing crampons..

The upper part of the mountain boot is made of seamless and durable microfiber with a water-repellent treatment, which is reinforced at the bottom with a dense tourmaline welt. The inside features a quick-drying mesh lining, a Gore-Tex Extended Comfort brand membrane, and an anatomical EVA footbed with a thin layer of sweat-wicking fabric.

The Stellar outsole has a four-component structure consisting of a heel reinforcement for crampons, two cushioning layers of foam of different densities, as well as an enveloping Vibram brand outsole, which is distinguished by the presence of shock-absorbing honeycombs on the inside and universal tread on the outside. At the same time, the outsole also has a combined design, created using rubber of different density.

The Stellar line of mountain boots will be available in two versions — Stellar GTX and Stellar AD GTX, in men’s and women’s versions, which will differ in shaft height and lacing system. New boots will go on free sale next year, the future cost has not yet been disclosed.
