
German knife brand Böker has expanded its premium line of products with two new fixed-blade products — the Böker Amico EDC everyday knife by designer Rob Thomas, based on the Böker Amico, and the outdoor knife Böker Terra Africa Outdoor, which is an updated version of the Böker Terra Africa by Austrian designer Armin Stütz. Both new products are produced in Germany at the factory in Solingen..

The Böker Amico EDC and Böker Terra Africa Outdoor knives have a classic full-tail design, a one-piece ground blade is made using Böhler N690Co stainless steel with a claimed hardness of 58 HRC. The Böker Amico EDC handle is formed by two completely black and smooth grips made of G10 material, the grips are fixed with two pairs of torx bolts. On the Böker Terra Africa Outdoor, the ergonomic handle is crafted using dark olive Micarta material and rivets are used to secure the grips.

The full length of the Böker Amico EDC, which is positioned as a small utility knife for everyday use, does not exceed 166 mm, the blade length is exactly 80 mm, the thickness of the blade on the butt is 3.7 mm. The outdoor knife Böker Terra Africa Outdoor reaches 219 mm in length, the blade length is 106 mm, the maximum thickness on the butt is 3.2 mm. The total weight of the presented knives is 71 and 160 grams, respectively.

The new knives are currently only available through the official brand store, Böker Amico EDC and Böker Terra Africa Outdoor are estimated by the manufacturer between 100 and 170 euros.
