Like the previous models, the Asticus C2002 blade, regardless of the choice of design option, will be made of 3 mm D2 grade tool steel, the hardness of which is declared by the manufacturer within 59-61 HRC. The folding blade, the total length of which is no more than 96.4 mm, is removed exclusively with the help of a flipper and is securely fixed with a steel Liner-Lock type lock. The ceramic bearing is responsible for the smoothness and speed of blade extraction.
The handle of the Asticus C2002 is made up of steel liners, steel bushings, a small G10 spacer, and smooth, textured G10 grips held in place by steel torx bolts. The design includes a lanyard attachment and a detachable steel clip that can be installed in two positions. The length of the open knife is exactly 223.7 mm, when folded it is 127.3 mm, the thickness of the handle is 12 mm, the weight of the knife is 110 grams.
A series of folding pocket knives Civivi Asticus C2002 will go on sale in the second half of March. In addition to the version with colorless translucent overlays, models with solid color overlays in dark green, blue and black are planned, as well as a separate, more premium and limited version with a Damascus steel blade and carbon polymer overlays.
