The Böker Plus brand has recently expanded its ax line with the new Böker Plus Chicken Hawk, which was developed as part of a continued collaboration with the well-known American designer DJ Urbanovsky, founder of the American Kami knife brand. The design of the novelty was based on the original MicrAxe ax presented earlier. The ax differs in reduced dimensions and materials used.

The Böker Plus Chicken Hawk all-metal ax uses D2 grade tool steel, which is known to hold an edge well, is strong and hard, and is more resistant to corrosion than other low chromium carbon steels. The hardness of the steel used is declared at the level of 57-61 units on the HRC scale.

A rather ergonomic handle of the new ax is formed by dense overlays made of dark green G10 material, which are decorated in the style characteristic of the American Kami brand. The external texture not only gives originality to the product, but also increases the reliability of the hold. To fix the pads, three pairs of steel bolts for a standard torx slot are used.

The total length of the Böker Plus Chicken Hawk is declared to be 230 mm, the maximum thickness of the ax on the butt is about 6.2 mm, the length of the cutting edge is not less than 55 mm. The weight of the ax without scabbard does not exceed 576 grams. The sheath is made of Kydex thermoplastic and comes with an adjustable carrying strap. The recommended retail price of the novelty, excluding delivery, is set at 140 euros.>
