As part of the introduction of the new 3DFit Technology, Outdoor Research continues to announce new models of insulated gloves. Following the ski gloves OR Lodestar Sensor Gloves, the company introduced the OR Project Gloves, which are more focused on climbers. Insulated gloves provide an ergonomic and reinforced design.

The insulated OR Project Gloves are made from a combination of durable and water resistant nylon material with thick leather and specialized anti-slip Pittards Oil Tac leather, which is used to form the palm and partially the fingers. To create the necessary level of protection against moisture and cold, a two-component Gore-Tex lining and PrimaLoft synthetic insulation are used, the density of the insulation is not specified.

The design of the new gloves provides for reinforcing genuine leather lining in areas of high wear, an elongated cuff with the ability to adjust the volume with a Velcro rubber strap, large nylon loops for ease of dressing and the ability to hang gloves on a carabiner.

The new Outdoor Research Project Gloves will hit retail stores in early fall 2016 for an estimated retail price of $135 a pair.
