In May, among other innovations, including the G-Steel GST-B400 and G-Squad Pro GSW-H1000 series, Casio will release two new designs for the shockproof G-Shock GA-2000 series, which appeared on the market back in 2019, as part of the Carbon Core Guard body layout technology. The new models are called GA-2000HC-3A and GA-2000HC-7A, and are mainly distinguished by their translucent polymer bezel and strap..
The overall dimensions of the presented models will fully correspond to the basic version (51.2 x 48.7 x 14.1 mm, 64 g, 20 ATM / 200 m), including the body, which is made using Carbon Core Guard technology. The watch case consists of four elements, namely the central part of carbon polymer, the front translucent polymer bezel, the stainless steel case back and an additional reinforced polymer layer on the back, which, among other things, forms the basis of the quick-change strap system.
Similar to the basic versions, the GA-2000HC-3A and GA-2000HC-7A have relatively «normal» functionality, including a world time function with 12/24 hour display, automatic calendar, stopwatch, countdown timer, five independent alarms and Super Illuminator LED lighting. The watch is powered by SR726W batteries, a full charge should last for three years.
