In the coming years, the knife brand We Knife Co. will expand its collection of folding everyday knives with a new series called Kitefin 2001, in which at least three models have already been announced, differing from each other in design and materials of overlays on the handle. Created exclusively by the brand’s in-house designers, the new line stands out as an elegant and balanced knife for comfortable everyday carry..

The blade of the Kitefin 2001 model, which has a relatively classic drop-point shape and a total length of about 82.2 mm, is made of 2.6 mm CPM S35VN powder steel, the hardness of which is declared by the manufacturer at 59-61 HRC. The blade of the novelty is removed exclusively with the help of a small flipper and is fixed with a Frame-Lock titanium lock, an axial ceramic bearing is responsible for the speed and smoothness of extraction.

The handle of the Kitefin 2001 models may differ in terms of color scheme, overall design and even materials. You can choose from different versions with titanium alloy overlays, or combined versions, where the titanium lock is complemented by a smooth carbon polymer overlay. The total length of the opened knife does not exceed 190.2 mm, the length of the folded knife is exactly 108 mm, the thickness of the handle is 10.1 mm. The total weight of the knife, depending on the choice of design, can vary from 66 to 82 grams.

It is expected that the new series of folding pocket knives We Knife Co. Kitefin 2001 will go on free sale towards the end of March, the recommended retail price will start at $162.
