Among the key releases for this summer season from New Balance is the new Fuel Cell Sandal 1.0 «sandal», which stands out for its modern, technological and futuristic design, as well as the fact that it can be used both for everyday wear and for running, as they are based on training shoes with FuelCell cushioning technology.

The upper of the new hybrid sneaker sandal features a combination of quick-drying, highly ventilated mesh with synthetic leather overlays and flexible TPU for toe and heel reinforcement. The interior is lined with a stretchy, soft and quick-drying material, which is complemented by an integrated foam insole and a thin outer layer of conductive fabric. Adjustment of the suspension system is carried out only in the front, and with the help of a wide strap.

The Fuel Cell Sandal 1.0 outsole is based on a wide EVA-based FuelCell foam that provides high levels of vertical shock absorption, ensures optimal comfort for long wear, and is resistant to wear and deformation. In addition, the outsole is formed by an integrated anatomical insole and a thin TPU outsole.

The New Balance Fuel Cell Sandal 1.0 Hybrid Athletic Sandal is available in only one colorway so far (Black with Energy Red) and is priced at almost $100 from the manufacturer. It is still possible to order a novelty only through the official online store of the brand.
