Salomon, together with the well-known brand Cordura, have developed a new series of sneakers called Acro, which is positioned by the developers as relatively light, durable and wear-resistant shoes for both everyday wear in the city and for hiking with light loads on prepared routes. The upper of Salomon Acro casual sneakers is made mainly of durable and dense nylon material of the Cordura brand, the density of the material used is not specified. For additional protection against possible mechanical damage, a TPU welt is provided along the bottom edge of the sneakers, in addition, the heel received a reinforced support pad. The inside of the shoe is lined with a voluminous, quick-drying mesh lining and features an anatomical Ortholite insole.
The sole of the lightweight Salomon Acro series sneakers is based on a branded outsole made of a mixed TPU material Contagrip and EVA, which is complemented by a shock-absorbing and wear-resistant EnergyCell intermediate layer made of the same EVA foam. The thickness of the midsole varies from 6 to 14 mm. The weight of a pair of sneakers in the average size does not exceed 590 grams.
At the moment, Salomon Acro everyday sneakers are offered in four combination colors to choose from, the estimated cost of new items is about 125 US dollars.
