Following the small pocket multitool The Cache River, American knife brand The James Brand has released The Pike, a relatively compact and lightweight everyday pocket knife that combines classic functionality with a more modern minimalist design. The novelty is offered immediately in three versions, which differ in color scheme, handle design and directly in the materials of the linings themselves..
With a Wharncliffe shape and just 58mm long, The Pike’s new pocket knife has a blade made of Sandvik 12c27 (57-58 HRC) stainless steel, regardless of style choice. A small blade is removed using a classic subungual cut near the butt in the frontal part, and is fixed with a conventional sliding lock of the Slip-Joint type.
The handle, 86mm long, features combo grips that can be made in stainless steel with real wood, olive Micarta composite, or all black G10. The all-black version, which costs $5 more, has DLC on both the blade and the steel hilt.
The Pike, an elegant everyday knife model, is already available for order through the official online store of the brand, the recommended retail prices start at $ 120, excluding shipping costs.
- The James Brand has released a new larger model of The Carter folding everyday knife, which is available in three designs.
