The Outdoor Research company continues to rapidly develop its line of winter gloves, following the military-tactical series, the sales of which started relatively recently, the company has released several more models for winter sports. Among the latest innovations, it is worth highlighting the OR Transcendent Mitts down mittens and the OR Shuksan Mitts waterproof mittens, which are made using 3DFit Technology.
OR Transcendent Mitts insulated winter mittens are made primarily from rip-stop polyester with rip-stop reinforcements and a water-repellent finish. A thin anti-slip layer of silicone is applied to the fingertips and palm. The inner lining is made of softer polyester fabric. To create the required level of thermal insulation, natural goose down with hydrophobic impregnation is used, the degree of filling of the insulation is at least 650FP. The weight of mittens in size L (Large) does not exceed 108 grams.
OR Shuksan Mitts hardshell mittens are made using a lightweight two-component Gore-Tex Paclite 2.5L membrane, all seams are additionally taped. The outer layer of the mittens is made of nylon with a declared density of 70 denier, the palm is reinforced with an AlpenGrip anti-slip pad, which is designed for comfortable work with ski equipment and, among other things, also increases the overall durability and waterproofness of the product. The weight of a pair of mittens in size L (Large) is stated at 117 grams.
