The Wildfire Edge features a mixed upper construction that combines up to 1.6mm genuine leather, reinforced nylon, and TPU overlays to form the 3F System, Switchfit System, and EXA Shell. The shoe features a quick-drying mesh lining and an anatomical OrthoLite insole. The outsole almost completely repeats the basic version, is based on the POMOCA Speed MTN outsole made of POMOCA Butylic thermopolyurethane blend material and is complemented by an intermediate layer of EVA foam. Heel to toe drop is 10mm.
The Salewa Wildfire Edge series of hiking shoes will go on sale in the coming days in both men’s and women’s versions. The weight of a male pair in the average size will be about 840 grams. The recommended retail price is 160 euros.
