Knife brand Gerber Gear has published a short presentation video in which it introduced a relatively new series of Sumo folding pocket knives. This model, which was presented at the beginning of the year, and in two versions, is positioned by the manufacturer as a versatile, convenient and budget knife for various everyday tasks..
The blade of the Gerber Sumo model, regardless of the choice of version, is made of 3.3 mm steel 7Cr17MoV, and has a length of about 98 mm (95 mm cutting edge). The handle of the model, which is 130 mm long, is formed by combined G10 linings and steel liners. The blade is removed using a small hole and fixed with a proprietary two-way Pivot Lock. The total length of the open knife does not exceed 254 mm, the average weight is 152 grams.
