The American manufacturer of everyday and military tactical equipment, the VIKTOS brand, has published a short video in which he introduced his relatively new ColdShot Glove insulated gloves. This model of gloves was created taking into account the use of both firearms and modern devices with capacitive touch displays. Gloves stand out both for their design and high level of water resistance and thermal insulation.
The outer layer of gloves is made of artificial leather AX Laredo, as well as wear-resistant and water-resistant polyester, which is complemented from the inside by the membrane brand Hipora. In addition, the design uses special overlays compatible with capacitive screens, a polyester lining and Thinsulate synthetic insulation (56 g/m2 palm, 113 g/m2 reverse side).
The VIKTOS ColdShot Glove, available in three colors (Winterlochen, Ranger, Nightfall), features an extended and adjustable cuff, waterproof YKK zipper for easy index finger inspection, and an oversized carabiner loop. The cost does not exceed 55 US dollars, the order can be placed through the manufacturer’s website.
