For real a long-range flashlight in itself is a specific thing, and not everyone needs it. Fewer people need to buy a grenade lantern. And a very small number of people need an underbarrel flashlight with maximum range and minimum side illumination, a classic “awl”. I’ve already told you about a couple of other great (and Olight rarely have them different) long-range flashlights:
long and bright Olight Javelot Pro and relatively compact, similar to the overview in terms of the set of modes and control of the underbarrel Olight Warrior X

And now it’s time to talk about the top, as we can say now, flagship model among Olight tactical flashlights.
For those who want to buy a powerful long-range flashlight, it would be wise to look at my management on the choice of lanterns, here in simple words I explained many things that are not obvious to a simple buyer, which will help you buy exactly what you want.

Packaging and appearance
A thick-walled white cardboard box with a good design and an image of a flashlight on the lid immediately makes it clear that there is a serious thing inside. If you take as a gift, the gift will look solid.

Inside — everything you need: a case with a flashlight (inside the last 21700 5000mah battery) and a small flat box that contains a lanyard, a replaceable stop ring, a charging cable and a manual.

The cover is dense, the flashlight is located in it with the bezel up. I think that the version of the previous model was more practical. It covered the entire flashlight, and there was a hole in the center to prevent the flashlight from burning through the case. Not that it is critical, but I would choose the last option.
That’s how it was in Warrior X Pro

And this is how it happened in Warrior X Turbo

The flashlight is definitely not from the category of compact long-range shooters, but also not some kind of monster like models on 4×18650. He has quite the usual length, the difference is only in the diameter of the head.

The appearance of the Olight Warrior X Turbo is amazing. This is a really brutal, purely male flashlight. Black (there is also an option in gun gray version), with a large tenacious rolling, with a massive head with pronounced edges.
It is immediately clear that this is not some kind of pocket EDC thing. And if, for the most part, tactical flashlights are quite similar, then this model is definitely distinguished by both the signature Olight azure bezel and the unusual tail button.

Actually, the design of the button in the tail is the strength of this model in particular, and Olight as a manufacturer in general.
Firstly, 2 level button and depending on the depth of pressing, you turn on one of the two available brightness levels.
Second, it works like magnetic charging contact. Of course, branded Olight. Without this wire with a pancake, you will need an external one, and even one that will fit a long battery.

And here is the second advantage. Underbarrel flashlight in most cases is used with a remote button. And, again, in most cases, it is screwed onto the tail instead of the tail cap. But not in the Olight Warrior X Turbo — here it is quick-detachable, which, in the presence of a quick-detachable magnetic mount, makes it possible to quickly remove the flashlight from the gun and use it as a manual one.
If desired, the button can be inserted into the rubber mount under the Picatinny rail.

A similar option was in Warrior X pro, but now the contact is more reliable

The maximum charging current of 1.8A drops quickly, so it takes 5 hours to charge. Third party batteries will not work, Olight more and more stubbornly closes the user only to his expensive batteries. There is no adapter!

I think if you have the money for such a frankly expensive flashlight as the Olight Warrior X Turbo, then buying a spare battery should not be a challenge to finances. I understand what the company is guided by, but I definitely do not support it. If you need something significantly less ranged, but much more affordable, take a look at my review. Sofirn C8G
Since the flashlight is underbarrel, then, of course, there are springs both from the side of the tail (in the form of a spring-loaded contact pad) and from the side of the head.

Turner, of course, at the highest level. The thread is well lubricated.

In addition to the default metal stop with a lanyard eyelet, there is a replaceable soft ring.

If you install the latter, then the clip will have to be removed.

The knurling is large, tenacious, with two flat cheeks.

The grip is strong, the flashlight fits perfectly in the hand

Compared to how it was in the Olight Warrior X Pro, here the cooling fins are present only nominally.
That’s how it was, I saw only a few units of models comparable in terms of ribbing.

Here, the bulk of the heat sink, obviously, lies simply on a massive head.

The teeth here are definitely not small, in the best traditions of tactical flashlight construction.

Glass with enlightenment and anti-reflective. Initially covered with a protective sticker.

Below it is a deep, smooth reflector at the bottom of which is a tiny Osram KP CSLPM1.F1 CW LED

That’s all. As usual for Oight, the flashlight looks amazing, you should expect excellent workmanship. Also traditionally, forget about third-party batteries.
Control
Let me remind you that the button is 2-position, the move has two positions. Let’s call this light pressing (LN) and full pressing (PN)
LN — Low (with a short press, the mode is fixed, if you hold it down, it will shine on hold)
PN — Turbo (same as above)
It should be noted that there is a kind vibration discharge indication flashlight
How Olight Warrior X Turbo shines
Cold white light. Side illumination is symbolic, all the light goes to the center.
If the restraint can be used as a foothold. I did this several times while walking along the SNT to the place where I take photos. The minimum 150 lumens is more than enough to see where to go, the more you can freely illuminate the road in an exceptionally large radius. But, of course, any ordinary EDC flashlight will be much more convenient here. But what to hide, even the cheapest long-range flashlight too.

The flashlight has full stabilization and at low brightness it works for about 12 hours. You will not be left without light, the flashlight does not turn off completely, after a sharp drop in brightness, it will gradually smolder until it turns off at a cutoff in the region of 2.8v

The duration of the high is wonderful.

The maximum brightness here is not one-time, if desired, it can be restarted. Somewhere at 3.6v, the flashlight could no longer pull it out. Taking into account the fact that, in theory, the maximum brightness should turn on for a short time, only at the time of the shot, these 6-10 minutes of the turbo will be enough with a huge excess.

The light is focused to a point as much as possible. Thanks to this, with almost half the brightness of the Warrior X, Warrior Turbo gives the declared range of 1 km against 600 m. Something more focused would be expected only from frankly close to laser pointers LEP-flashlights like Acebeam W30, which, I hope, will also be able to tell.
Because of this, even at the minimum brightness, with an insignificant 150 lumens, the flashlights work without the slightest effort within a radius of 100 m.
And this is not an exaggeration, see for yourself.
50m

750m

Up to the trees in a straight line the ruler on the map shows 100mgiven that the beam goes up, you can throw 15-20 meters.

And here close

250m
Even at this distance from Low there is some use, see for yourself. In complete darkness it would be even more noticeable.

400m

450
even here you can see some kind of symbolic brilliance from low, but this mode is frankly useless.

General impressions
Olight Warrior X Turbo is let and very specific but it is interesting as an alternative to another wonderful and similar in range model Olight Javelot Pro. But there, with the same dimensions of the reflector, this was achieved due to a 2-fold superiority in brightness. That is, at the same brightness, Javelot Pro will definitely lose Warrior Turbo. The light, by the way, unlike the Warrior X Turbo, is fully neutral, which is clearly better for a long-range flashlight. Yes, and you can put it on a gun if you wish, there are intermediate modes. But this is a 2×18650 model, which is significantly longer than the Warrior X Turbo. Yes, and it costs a third more expensive, also worth noting.
If the first one is also applicable for some non-hunting-tactical needs, then the hero of the review is a 100% underbarrel flashlight. And on a set of modes, and on management.
So, I remind you, this is a specific flashlight, the purchase of which for domestic needs, in general, is meaningless.
AND If:
a) under a gun you need a relatively oversized for such an extremely capacious battery, a flashlight that fits in your pocket with crazy range, with maximum beam focusing and penetrating power, which even at the minimum mode lasting 13 hours will give you the opportunity to work freely within hundreds of meters.
b) you will be satisfied that you have, albeit exceptionally convenient and quick access, but only two modes. A flashlight that works only on an expensive proprietary battery, which only a few external charges can accommodate due to its length.
c) the financial side does not have any problems in buying one of the brand’s top new products.
That, considering all these variables, the Olight Warrior X Turbo will be a flashlight that is sure to leave you satisfied and impress everyone around you. No one around will expect that a flashlight with the dimensions of an ordinary tactical one will be able to give out such a beam. It wonderfully does what it was created for — it just lashes like hell at the maximum possible distance, at which the naked eye can no longer see anything. If you need something compact under the gun and at the same time long-playing and far-hitting, take a closer look at the Olight Warrior X Turbo.
You will certainly fork out to own such a flashlight, but this is a top-of-the-line novelty from Olight and there is no reason to expect anything else. If your budget is limited to a dramatically smaller amount, you should look at Sofirn C8G
That’s probably all.
